Was it because he had received a circuit board for his eighth birthday even though he had wished for a box of toy soldiers?

Could it be that the warranty on his Laptop had run out a day before it malfunctioned?

Or was it because he always got slow WiFi whenever he settled down to drink coffee in an expensive cafe, thereby forcing him to buy additional cups?

Anyway, this mission would apparently be focus on technology....great.
